Meet the Raspberry Pi 3 Model A+, a smaller version of the powerful Raspberry Pi 3 Model B+ announced earlier this year on Pi Day, which features its big brother’s improved thermals management and USB mass-storage booting, as well as 2.4GHz and 5GHz IEEE 802.11.b/g/n/ac wireless LAN networking and Bluetooth 4.2 LE support. A smaller Raspberry Pi 3 model was one of the most frequently requested “missing” products, according to Raspberry Pi Foundation, so the company unveiled the Raspberry Pi 3 Model A+ with the same Broadcom BCM2837B0 1.4GHz Quad-Core 64-bit ARM Cortex-A53 processor available in the Raspberry Pi 3 Model B+, but with only 512MB LPDDR2 SDRAM.
