Linux kernel 4.7 was officially announced by Linus Torvalds on July 24, 2016, and it’s a cool release that brought out-of-the-box support for the new Radeon RX 480 graphics cards from AMD, the LoadPin security module to ensure that modules loaded by the kernel originate from the same file system, and support for parallel directory lookups. If you like the features that the Linux kernel developers have implemented in the Linux 4.7 series, and you want to use it on your SparkyLinux operating system, you’re in luck, because the packages are now available for installation in the “unstable” repository.
