System76’s Pop!_OS Linux Installer to Ship by Default with Ubuntu 18.04 Rebase

As you’re aware, System76 teamed up last month with elementary OS’ devs to work on an all-new installer for Pop!_OS Linux, but it doesn’t look like it will be ready for next month’s release of the GNU/Linux distribution, but there will be a separate ISO available for those who want to test the installer, which will be implemented by default for the second release of the OS, based on Ubuntu 18.04 LTS. Until System76 publishes an ISO image of its upcoming Pop!_OS Linux distro so you can test the new installer, they’ve provided us with a screenshot tour (attached below) if you’re curious to see what it looks like. It’s a “no frills” installer that will only take care of configuring basic aspects of the OS.
