Coming five weeks after Tails OS 4.0, a major release based on the latest Debian GNU/Linux 10 “Buster” operating system series, Tails OS 4.1 is here with a new default OpenPGP key server, namely https://keys.openpgp.org/, which the project says is “more trustworthy than other OpenPGP public key servers.” According to the Tails developers, the new default OpenPGP key server doesn’t distribute third-party signatures, references OpenPGP public keys only after sending a confirmation email to the addresses listed in the key, and also blocks OpenPGP certificate flooding attacks.
