The death of Medibuntu: A harbinger of doom for Ubuntu?

Medibuntu was an Ubuntu spin that focused on “multimedia, entertainment and distractions.” It appears that this is the end for Medibuntu. So what does it mean for Ubuntu? Not much. Medibuntu was never a particularly popular Ubuntu spin the way that Linux Mint and others have been over the years. Frankly, I can’t remember it ever getting much attention since it was first released.
