Today, October 2, Softpedia is the first to report that Canonical picked up the winners of the Ubuntu Free Culture Showcase contest and uploaded the new default wallpapers of the upcoming Ubuntu 15.10 operating system on the Launchpad website. Ubuntu Free Culture Showcase took place on Flickr between August 23 and September 16.
