Open standards and protocols aren’t enough to ensure service interoperability. Service providers must actually implement and offer them to consumers.The large platforms has forsaken open protocols and grow ever larger and more capable. The competition falls further and further behind. It shows how the market has failed to deliver adversarial interoperability and limits consumer choice. The time has come to ensure consumers has choices through service interoperability and open protocols.
