Linux is thriving on servers and also serves as the underpinning of many cloud software deployments. However, especially when it comes to emerging open source cloud platforms such as OpenStack, there are still many concerns at enterprises about the security of Linux-based cloud deployments. That area of concern is what a new startup company called Threat Stack is focused on.

Threat Stack’s Cloud Sight agent software offering is in private beta testing and provides enterprises with alerts if hackers crack Linux-based servers running platforms.
