After being in development from the beginning of the month, Tiny Core Linux 7.1 had a short development cycle, during which it received two RC (Release Candidate) builds, the first one implementing syslogd -L after -R in the tc-config components, as well as moving the rebuildfstab call to the mnttool utility in the mountables.sh script.
The second Release Candidate version of Tiny Core Linux 7.1 upgraded the BusyBox collection of UNIX utilities from version 1.24.1 to 1.24.2, bringing users the latest and most advanced command-line tools, and increased of BusyBox syslogd’s buffer size from 256 to 512. Another interesting change was that syslog was moved after the hostname in the tc-config component.
