Standards Alliance–
We will be joined tonight by one of the SAMBA
TEAM founders, John Terpstra Talking about Samba, some
books penned by John and a new initiative fostered by John. Of note
is that as of today, Samba 3.0.2 is available for download to the
Samba FTP site http://download.samba.org/samba/ftp/
Every now and then an application program comes along that can
truley be called a “Killer Application.” Samba is one of those.
Samba continues to rack up awards at Open Source conferences year
after year. Samba is an Open Source/Free Software suite that
provides seamless file and print services to SMB/CIFS clients.
Samba is freely available under the GNU General Public License.
John H Terpstra is CEO/President with
PrimaStasys, Inc., a company that mentors Information Technology
companies and facilitates profitable change in practices. John is
also CEO of Fabuluss Software, Inc. – an innovative company that is
