Ubuntu 10.04 LTS Has Just Received a Linux Kernel Update

Canonical has announced on December 3 that the Ubuntu development team released an updated Linux kernel package for its Ubuntu 10.04 LTS (Lucid Lynx) operating system, fixing two vulnerabilities discovered in the upstream Linux 2.6 kernel packages by various developers. The security flaws can be fixed if you upgrade your Ubuntu 10.04 LTS system(s) to the linux-image-2.6.32-54 (2.6.32-54.116) package(s). To apply the update, run the Update Manager application.
