Ubuntu 12.04.5 LTS Might Become Reality, Kubuntu and Edubuntu Are In

As you all know, Ubuntu 12.04.4 LTS was just announced this Thursday, February 6, 2014, and it was the last point release for Canonical’s current LTS (Long Term Release) operating system. However, because the Precise Pangolin release will still be supported by Canonical with security patches and software updates until 2017, the team thinks that there’s room for an Ubuntu 12.04.5 LTS release.
