Dubbed Precise Pangolin, the new Ubuntu 12.04 operating system is the 16th release of the Ubuntu OS and it will be supported for five (yes, 5) years on both desktops and servers. Powered by Linux kernel 3.2 and the GNOME 3.4 desktop environment, with the powerful and greatly improved Unity interface on top of it, the Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin) release brings overall improvements, updated apps, and new features.
