There’s no codename for the Ubuntu 14.04 LTS release, as Mark Shuttleworth has yet to announce it, but we can tell you right now when the operating will be officially released and its development iterations will be out. The same release schedule used in Ubuntu 13.04 and Ubuntu 13.10 applies for Ubuntu 14.04 LTS too, which means that there will be two Alpha versions and one Beta release for opt-in flavors, and a Final Beta release for all editions, including Ubuntu.
