The Ubuntu Kernel Team had a meeting in order to plan the steps that are to be taken by them prior to the migration to the latest upstream Linux kernel packages for the upcoming Ubuntu 15.10 (Wily Werewolf) operating system. In the coming days, Ubuntu 15.10 (Wily Werewolf) will receive the Linux kernel 4.0 upgrade, but the final version of the operating system might be based on Linux kernel 4.1. The new kernel packages will also be available in Wily’s main software repositories.
