Being based on the Ubuntu 16.04.2 LTS (Xenial Xerus) release, LXLE 16.04.2 includes numerous improvements over previous versions. The OS is far from perfect, says the developer, but with every new release there are more tweaks and optimizations to make the entire LXLE desktop experience even more enjoyable for all of us. Among the new features included in the LXLE 16.04.2 “Eclectica” release, we can mention reconfigured layout of the Applications Menu, completely revamped Control Menu, which now acts as a dynamic Control Panel, use of the Zenburn theme for custom terminal color scheme, and a more uniform look and feel.
