We told you a while ago that Ubuntu Budgie, the GNU/Linux distribution formerly known as budgie-remix and based on the latest Budgie desktop environment and Ubuntu Linux operating system, achieved official Ubuntu flavor status from Canonical, and will join all the other editions as part of the Ubuntu 17.04 release in April. The Ubuntu Budgie team is currently working hard to rename the entire project from budgie-remix to Ubuntu Budgie, which is a huge task because there are numerous parts that need to be renamed, including the logo.
