Long story short, and as expected, the first Ubuntu 17.10 (Artful Aardvark) daily builds are based on the repositories of the current stable release of the popular OS, namely Ubuntu 17.04 (Zesty Zapus), which means that they’re shipping with the Linux 4.10 kernel series.
