Ubuntu Kylin 16.10, also dubbed Yakkety Yak, is has been announced as well today, and it looks like it’s one of the best releases so far of the Ubuntu flavor designed for Chinese-speaking users. It ships with the latest Linux 4.8 kernel for improved hardware support, a gorgeous Unity 7 interface with bottom Launcher, and many up-to-date applications, among which we can mention the Mozilla Firefox 49.0 and Chromium 53.0 web browsers, Mozilla Thunderbird 45.3.0 email and news client, and LibreOffice 5.2 office suite.
