Ubuntu Phone Users Might Get a Security Hotfix Soon, Please Update Immediately

Canonical’s ??ukasz Zemczak reports today that many BQ Aquaris owners reported slowness of the Unity8 interface after updating to OTA-10. Moreover, it appears that a security issue has been discovered in the OTA-10 images, and the Ubuntu Touch team is working overtime this weekend to get a patch soon and re-release the OTA-10 update to all users. So if you see an update notification again in the next few hours, please apply the update immediately.
