Ubuntu Tablet OS to be Announced on February 19

Looks like Canonical is trying really hard to get into the mobile market, as they are now teasing us with a countdown (20 hours left at the time of writing) for a supposedly tablet operating system powered by Ubuntu, on the Ubuntu.com website. Now that Ubuntu Phone OS a.k.a. Ubuntu OS for smartphones will be out for download this Thursday, February 21, Canonical thinks it’s time to work on a more advanced Ubuntu operating system, this time for tablets only.
