There’s no word on the Ubuntu Touch OTA-5.5 hotfix, but the Ubuntu Touch team is still considering releasing it in order to patch known issues introduced in the OTA-5 major update. However, the QA team is currently in the process of testing the point release. All Ubuntu Touch developers are being informed that the String and Feature Freeze for the OTA-6 software update is currently planned for next week, on August 11, 2015, so it is imperative that all devs get started on finishing all the critical features listed on the Ubuntu Touch OTA-6 milestone.
