Among other improvements that landed in the rc-proposed channel of Ubuntu Touch, we can mention new versions of the qtmultimedia and gst-plugins-bad0.10 packages, which enable support for the Opus audio codec. Canonical’s Lukasz Zemczak reports in his latest landing email that Ubuntu Touch OTA-14 preparations are still ongoing, but users should expect a slight delay. The software update is focused on bug fixes and performance improvements only. Ubuntu Touch OTA-14 was supposed to be out tomorrow, November 14, 2016, but it looks like that’s not the case anymore.
