The day of January 13 was quite exciting in regard with the updates and new releases pushed to the rc-proposed channel for the Ubuntu Touch mobile operating system, features that will be present in the OTA-9 update. Among these, we can mention a new Unity 8 interface with multiple bugfixes.

The Web Browser app was updated as well, along with the QtUbuntu-Media component, which received a workaround for an annoying issue when the shuffle mode didn’t repeat if the repeat option was disabled before enabling the feature, and several automated language-pack updates.
