Ubuntu’s Mir 0.17 Display Server Has Better Support for Third-Party Renderers

Mir 0.17 introduces a new library called libmircookie, which aims to provide a simple mechanism that can be used by a group of processes that cooperate with each other to verify timestamps that are difficult to forge to untrusted third-party parties. Moreover, there’s now better support for third-party renderers.
