In order for Ultimate Boot CD Live to become a Parted Magic replacement, it need to met some criterias, such as to support existing Parted Magic and UBCD modules, be easily customizable, should have the same system requirements as Parted Magic, and should have a user-friendly interface. It is currently based on the Debian GNU/Linux operating system.
