As revealed during the beta stages, the new Steam Client update enables Bluetooth LE (Low Energy) connectivity for the Steam Controller, which will be required for Valve’s upcoming Steam Link app for Android and iOS devices to stream games to a smartphone or tablet device. Check out our instructions here on how to enable Bluetooth support on the Steam Controller. The update also adds support for the Nintendo Switch Pro controller, which you’ll be able to use to play your favorite Steam games, as well as support for the NACON Revolution Pro 2 PS4 controller. Also, Valve improved the behavior of joystick auto-calibration, software gyro drift correction, and the handling of controller configuration when disabling the Steam Overlay.
