The biggest news for Linux gamers since Proton 5.13-5 is that with Proton 5.13-6 they can now play the recently launched Nioh 2 action role-playing game on their GNU/Linux distributions via Steam Play. The new Proton release also improves support for Cyberpunk 2077 by addressing more world sound issues, restores VR support in No Man’s Sky, repairs voice chat support in Deep Rock Galactic, fixes sound issues in Dark Sector, and adds better support for AMD systems for DOOM Eternal and Need for Speed (2015).
