VirtualBox 5.1.4 Released with Improved Support for Linux Kernel 4.7 and Later

VirtualBox 5.1.4 is now the most advanced version of the open-source and cross-platform virtualization software. It’s the second maintenance release in the series, coming three weeks after VirtualBox 5.1.2 to add various enhancements to Linux Additions, such as support for Linux kernel 4.7 or later to the built-in video driver. Talking about the video driver implemented in the Linux Additions, users should also be aware of the fact that, starting with VirtualBox 5.1.4, it will also work on 32-bit guests that have graphics cards with large video memory sizes, and it looks like there’s now a workaround for the X.Org Server bug that caused the screen refresh not to function.
