Manchester, UK – Worldwide thin client supplier, VXL Instruments, launches its latest high-performance, IQ-B series desktop with powerful 2.0 GHz Intel Baytrail-D Celeron Quad Core processor with Turbo boost up to 2.4GHz.
Developed in response to a growing need for increased bandwidth efficiency and performance, the IQ-B series handles a broad range of 3D, video and multimedia applications and is the ideal choice for power users who need to run several demanding applications at once.

A true enterprise class device, the new IQ-B series is based on Intel’s Baytrail chipset technology and features a quad core CPU with 2.0GHz or boosted 2.4 GHz. Available with Windows Embedded Standard, WES7 & WE8S and VXL Gio 6 Linux operating systems, the IQ-B supports leading industry protocols including Citrix HDX 3D technology for accessing server-based 3D applications, VMware Horizon View and Microsoft RDP including RemoteFX.
With impressive multitasking performance, provided by its on board 16GB Flash and 4GB RAM (WE8S), the future-proof IQ-B series boasts seven USBs (1 x USB 3.0 ports and 6 x USB 2.0), HDMI, Serial and VGA ports and an Intel HD graphics processor.
Benefiting from a space saving design with small desktop footprint, the IQ-B series can also be attached to the rear of a monitor via an optional VESA mount bracket adaptor (model AC3540-30M-10) for both 75mm and 100mm versions.
The IQ-B series come with a three year warranty as standard and are also available with VXL’s class-leading Fusion Professional device manager software solution.
