Today, Feral Interactive announced that the port will come with support for the next-generation graphics technologies. In other words, Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War III promises support for the Vulkan API on GNU/Linux and SteamOS operating systems, as well as support for the Metal API on Apple’s macOS. These cutting-edge graphics and 3D rendering technologies will make the game look stunning on both platforms. In the meantime, we keep our fingers crossed for Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War III to support both AMD Radeon and Nvidia graphics cards on Linux/SteamOS. Feral Interactive is yet to unveil the minimum and recommended system requirements for playing the game on Linux and macOS, so we’ll let you know as soon as that happens.
