The exhibitors are setting up, friends are being re-united with
old friends, and an atmosphere of excitement is felt in the
air…

After traveling 2,000 miles, I arrive in San Jose, CA for the
2nd episode of the LinuxWorld Conference and Expo. Today is setup
day for exhibitors (like me), so nobody (including me) has any time
for chatting about exciting announcements to be made this week.

So, in the meantime, here are some interesting pictures to tide
you over until we get some interesting stories placed here. Click
any picture to see the full-size version.

Your humble host, Dave Whitinger

Look at the enormous signs hanging from the ceilings.
Who says there’s no money in Linux?

LinuxCare… Once again, they’ve shown up with style and
class. They have a huge, rotating, and glowing sign
bearing the likeness of their logo. Brash? Naaah.

Stay tuned for more later. I have interviews scheduled with a
rash of companies, and will be chatting privately with several
interesting individuals.

Update: I’ll be adding more pictures at this link as time allows. These are just raw
pictures with no interesting or witty comments attached. If you
want nicely formatted stuff, stick to the stories that we’ll be
posting.
