WhatsApp to Stop Working Today on BlackBerry OS, BlackBerry 10, and Windows Phone 8

Back in February 2016, WhatsApp explained that it will focus more on the iOS and Android platforms, instead of the older mobile operating systems offered by BlackBerry and Nokia back when WhatsApp launched, to be able to expand the app’s features in the future. At the end of 2016, stopped working on Nokia Symbian S60, iPhone 3GS and other iPhone devices running Apple’s iOS 6 operating system, Windows Phone 7 devices, as well as any other device running Google’s Linux-powered Android 2.1 and Android 2.2 operating systems.
