Windows 8 Touch-Screen PC Discounts: Why?

Best Buy (NYSE: BBY) has started offering $100 discounts on Windows 8 touch-screen laptops and PCs. The promotion runs through March 9. Something doesn’t add up here. If Windows 8 is off to such a strong start then why would one of the world’s largest PC retailers need to discount relatively new PCs running the new operating system? Hmmm???
