Wine-Staging 1.9.10 Arrives Hot on the Heels of Wine 1.9.10 with CSMT Support

The biggest new feature of Wine-Staging 1.9.10, which also includes the Wine 1.9.10 changes mentioned above, is the re-implementation of CSMT (command stream multi-threading) support, a core functionality that got removed from the software due to some major differences between the new design included upstream and the original CSMT patchset. Therefore, it looks like Wine’s DirectX stack needed to be rewritten so that it could handle textures instead of surfaces, on which the old CSMT patchset was based.
