First off, Wine Staging 2.12 incorporates all the new features and enhancements that landed upstream in Wine 2.12, including but not limited to the implementation of an audio driver for Android, initial support for the MSI user interface, various RegEdit file parser enhancements, as well as some async I/O performance improvements. Apart from those new features, it would appear that Wine Staging 2.12 fixes some rendering bugs in multiple Windows games and applications, including The Witcher 3, Assassin’s Creed III, Trackmania Turbo, and Unigine Heaven Benchmark 4.0, and it now automatically detects when to use the OpenGL core or compatibility context.
