Xen 4.7 Open Source Linux Hypervisor Arrives with Non-Disruptive, Live Patching

Release highlights of Xen 4.7 include a new XL command-line interface that has been designed to allow the use of PVUSB devices for PV guests, as well as to enable hot-plugging of USB devices, HVM guests, and QEMU disk backends like iSCSI, DRBD, and more in HVM guests. Basically, this lets you add or remove disk backends to virtual machines without the need to reboot the guest.
