Xubuntu 15.10 Beta 1 Drops Gnumeric and Abiword in Favor of LibreOffice Writer and Calc

Major new features in Xubuntu 15.10 Beta 1 include the removal of the Gnumeric spreadsheet viewer and Abiword word processing software with the more professional LibreOffice Writer and LibreOffice Calc. The distribution is now powered by Linux kernel 4.1 LTS. The Wily Werewolf Beta 1 build of Xubuntu 15.10 also includes a beautiful new theme for LibreOffice, called libreoffice-style-elementary. The Xfce 4.12.2 desktop environment was included in this release.
