“Internet Appliance Inc.’s global expansion is in full swing —
thanks to a $15 million boost from a group of Singaporean
investors.”

“The Silicon Valley-based company, a leading supplier of
Internet security solutions, has recently secured funding from
three separate parties. Venture capitalists and investment fund
managers, The ASC Group (ASC), will contribute $8 million, while
another $5 million will come from Amtek Engineering Ltd (Amtek), a
majority shareholder of Internet Appliance. The final $2 million is
from a private investor in Singapore.”

“”Our INTERNETpro(TM) SES family of VPN appliances are based
on the Linux operating system and they are extremely reliable and
easy to use,”
said Gregory Hauw, president & CEO of
Internet Appliance. “Installed in a compact blue box, each
model comes complete with a suite of Internet features including
state-of-the-art security
, which is a boon to small- to
mid-sized enterprises.””
