“InterScan VirusWall for ISP provides communication carriers
with increased availability, scalability and reliability of
Internet gateway virus protection.”

“Trend Micro Inc., a leading provider of Internet content
security, today announced its new carrier-class, Internet gateway
virus scanning software solution designed specifically for the
rigors of the Internet Service Provider, Application Service
Provider, and telco environments.”

“InterScan VirusWall for ISP has been designed from the ground
up to operate in “carrier-class” environments to provide premium
service and high availability at the levels needed to run in data
centers. InterScan for ISP runs on both the Solaris and Linux
platforms and provides high-performance, scalable, reliable,
real-time Internet gateway protection against viruses and malicious
code in SMTP traffic.
Carrier class also means that all
aspects of InterScan for ISP are redundant, swappable and
fault-tolerant.”
