“WebTrends Corporation… today announced the release of a new
version of its WebTrends Security Analyzer product, which includes
detection of Distributed Denial of Service (DDOS) attack
agents.

It is believed the widely available DDOS agents Trin00,
Stacheldracht and Tribal Flood Network were responsible for the
latest DDOS attacks on leading online Internet sites. With the
addition of these updates, WebTrends Security Analyzer now
detects 25 DDOS agents, providing e-Business companies with the
most complete, up-to-the-minute scans of entire Windows, Solaris
and Linux environments.”

“When WebTrends Security Analyzer detects the DDOS agents or any
vulnerabilities that compromise the security of a network, the user
will be notified with detailed information on how to correct the
problem.”
