“Call For Papers”

RG Studio and the Polish Linux Users Group (PLUG) organize the
second Warsaw Autumn Linux Workshop conference. The conference will
take place in Warsaw, Poland, on October 21-23 1999.

The first Workshop took place October 22-24, 1998. Over 140
people attended, many interesting presentations were given. The
main conference sponsor was Informix Software. The Workshop was
also sponsored by: RG Studio, Casinos Poland, The Stefan Batory
Foundation. Media coverage: Magazyn Linux and UNIX.

The 1998 event was a great success. We would like it to be even
better and bigger this year.

Authors are invited to submit papers and presentations. If
interested, authors should send the proposed presentation title
along with an abstract (up to 150 words) to:
conference@rgstudio.com.pl

The official conference languages are Polish and English.

Topics include, but are not limited to:

  • Graphics (2D and 3D)
  • Kernel programming
  • Networking
  • High-Performance
  • Real-life solutions based on Linux
  • Security of networked Linux systems

Important dates:

  • July 20, 1999: deadline for receipt of submissions (subjects)
    and abstracts of up to 150 words
  • July 30, 1999: acceptance notification
  • September 1, 1999: camera-ready final papers, up to 10
    pages
