privacy products. SiegePipe is a secure and private Internet
connection allowing you not only HTTP access, but also HTTPS, FTP,
Gopher, NNTP and streaming audio/video.”

“Developed by Rishi Bhat, SiegePipe allows both Linux and
Windows based users the ability to surf anonymously from any
homepage. SiegePipe will be launched Wednesday, December 15, 1999
on the http://www.siegesoft.com web site and made available to all
subscribers of SiegeSurfer.”

SiegePipe is proprietary software based on the Linux
operating system, which originated as an Open Source software
project
and now provides the basis for products from companies
such as VA Linux Systems Inc….Red Hat Inc….and Corel
Corp….The advantages of Linux include a greater ability to
customize security, IP based traffic, and application development
using the technology in the Open Source code.”
