E-Commerce Times: Diversinet Delivers Linux-Based Wireless E-Commerce Security

“Software security solutions provider Diversinet Corp. (Nasdaq:
DVNT) announced Tuesday that it is extending support of its
Software Development Kit (SDK) for creating wireless e-commerce
applications to the Linux open-source platform.”

“The new SDK product will allow developers who work with
Linux and other UNIX environments to utilize Diversinet’s Passport
Certificate Server, along with its Digital Permit Server
, to
provide secure authorization services over distributed wireless
architectures.”

“Diversinet’s Digital Permit Server allows content providers and
other organizations to issue authorization for remote access to
databases and services for users who work with resource-constrained
devices, such as pagers, cellular phones and smart cards.”
