Linux developers fix a homemade network problem

“Linux kernels 3.0.17, 3.1.9 and 3.2.1 fix a problem with the
handling of IGMP packets that was introduced with updates in Linux
2.6.36.

An IGMPv3 protocol packet being processed soon after the
processing of an IGMPv2 packet could lead to a system crash caused
by a kernel panic.
