I just wanted to let the community know that Linuxpower.org has gone through
some improvements design wise and is now sporting that new shiny
design. Comments are welcomed.

From the LinuxPower website:

As you can see the new design is up. Unlike any previous
linuxpower design (and I think I had about 11 designs before we
decided as a group on the last one), this design was all Jeremy’s.
So, if you like it as much as I do, tell him about it =)

There are quite a few new features which I personally wanted for
a while. One is that we now link from the front page to our
sub-sites. Also, we have a search going, but it is still really
being worked on as its not as complete as we would all like. Next,
we now link to older stuff from the front page, and the archives
were cleaned up and now are easy to look at 😉 Moreover, you can
click “Poll” can look over our results from past polls.

Since it is obvious that you guys would like to see a security
section for the site, and I know many of you are extremely into
security, we will be taking a small handful of volunteers to write
for that section. So, if you want to give back to the community,
and share your security knowledge, email us.

Otherwise, I hope you enjoy the improvements at linuxpower.
