“IBM Norway and Trustix have signed an agreement to jointly
develop and market a Linux training programme in Norway. The
training programme will be centred around Trustix’ Linux operating
system – Trustix Secure Linux (TSL), and Trustix’ Linux
competencies. In the initial stages Trustix instructors will run
the training courses. The training material is based on Linux
training courses developed by IBM centrally.

“Egil Lehovd, a Manager at IBM Learning Services in Norway,
says: “I am very satisfied with this agreement providing IBM access
to the expertise of the foremost Linux company in Norway”. He adds:
“I have the highest expectations to the co-operation between
Trustix and IBM, with an objective to jointly develop the training
programme further to include data security, firewall technology and
Linux systems management, tapping into the competencies of
Trustix.”

“Frode Gerhardsen, Sales Manager Nordic, predicts a strong
growth for Linux support, training and consulting services as more
and more large companies in Norway are migrating servers to the
Linux platform. The office in Oslo will also be a competence centre
supporting the Trustix resellers and key customers in the
region.”
