“The editorial staff of the German computer magazine PC INTERN
wants to draw attention to security of data in web-server-systems
in an outstanding contest.”

“The hack-event aims at checking and discussing the reliability
of Windows-NT- and Linux-PCs’ security. Starting at 9.00 am on
Thursday 18th, 1999, you will find two links on this site which
will lead to the servers to be hacked. On both servers there is
hidden a telephone-number and a password. The person who will call
first telling the password and the way he or she hacked the server,
wins an IBM Netfinity-server. PC INTERN grants the hackers total
exemption from punishment – PC INTERN’s single aim is to expose and
discuss the security’s weak spots.”
