Tomorrow (Feb 1) Progressive Networks will
announce that its Phoenix Adaptive Firewall has been security
audited and certified LinuxReady by Linuxcare Labs. The Phoenix
firewall is the only firewall to be certified LinuxReady, ensuring
customers that the firewall is compatible with the major Linux
distributions and will standup to real-world security
demands.

In addition, Progressive will announce a new firewall appliance
based on the Cobalt Qube 2
server appliance. The Phoenix on the Qube gives small-to
medium-sized businesses, workgroups, branch offices, schools and
government institutions greater flexibility in establishing network
security policy and design.
