“VA Linux Systems (VA) today announced the launch of its
Professional Services Group, which will provide businesses with
Linux consulting and customization services. The Professional
Services Group thus extends VA Linux Systems’ current offerings in
Linux systems and support, giving customers a single point of
contact for complete Linux solutions.”

VA Linux Systems’ Professional Services Group will offer
its Linux expertise in five areas: architecture and planning;
deployment and installation; systems integration (including open
source product implementation); performance analysis; and security
consulting.

“Our goal is to make our customers successful with Linux by
offering ongoing access to VA Linux expertise,” said John T. Hall,
VA Linux Systems’ vice president of support and professional
services. “Our focus on systems gives us unique knowledge of our
customers’ entire Linux environment.”
